Design Trust Promotes Native America Festival

Wilton, CT., October 27, 2005 -- Friends of Hammonasset, a non-profit advocacy organization for Hammonasset Beach State Park in Madison, Connecticut, commissioned Design Trust, an integrated agency, to create an identity, event promotion poster and website for the Hammonassett Festival 2005, held on Saturday and Sunday, 8-9 October.

The Festival, proclaimed in an Official Statement by Connecticut Governor Jodi Rell, featured Native American musicians, dancers and artists, as well as nature, environmental and historical exhibitions. “We are deeply grateful to Design Trust for creating the beautiful promotional materials for the Festival,” said Marcy Klattenberg, President, Friends of Hammonasset. "Their efforts were a major component in making our event an educational and rewarding experience for all who attended."

“It was important to create materials that demonstrated respect for Native American symbols while evoking the natural wonder of this treasure of a park,” said David Cundy of Design Trust. “It was an honor to serve such a great cause.”
